Call Sens. Schumer and Gillibrand: Stop a war before it begins

Dear MoveOn member,

America has an incredible opportunity to finalize an agreement that would prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and demonstrate that diplomacy is a realistic alternative to war.

Will you call Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand right now to tell them that you strongly support this diplomatic agreement?

Please call now—and say something like, "This agreement with Iran will make the world safer. The alternative is putting us on a path to another Mideast war. I'm calling on my senators to strongly support the agreement."

Here's where to call:

Senator Charles Schumer
Phone: (202) 224-6542

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand
Phone: (202) 224-4451

Then, so we know how it went and have up-to-date information on what members of Congress are telling their constituents, please report your call by clicking here:

http://pol.moveon.org/call?tg=FSNY_1.FSNY_2&cp_id=2314&id=126786-10220574-tBybiHx&t=1

Americans support this deal by a large margin.1 But war hawks are planning to spend as much as $40 million on fearmongering ads, lobbying, and other campaign tactics to bully Congress into sabotaging diplomacy.2

We can't outspend the war hawks, but we can out-mobilize them if we all speak up. The Senate is going on summer vacation next week, and it's critical they hear from us in Washington before they head home.

Can you call Sens. Schumer and Gillibrand right now to voice your support for this diplomatic deal?

Senator Charles Schumer
Phone: (202) 224-6542

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand
Phone: (202) 224-4451

Then click here to report how the call went:

This deal would be a historic achievement, making us all safer and disavowing the militarism and warmongering that led us into Iraq.

You can tell a lot about this diplomatic achievement by who stands against it and the language they are using. Ted Cruz compared the Obama Administration to Islamic terrorists for pursuing peace.3 Mike Huckabee compared this deal to the Holocaust.4

The other side will say anything, do anything, and spend anything to make sure diplomacy fails.

All month, we'll be asking members like you to call your senators—today's your day. Can you make the call right now?

Senator Charles Schumer
Phone: (202) 224-6542

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand
Phone: (202) 224-4451

Then click here to report how the call went:

Over the next month, we'll share opportunities to visit members of Congress when they are home for recess. Earlier this week, we joined other grassroots groups and members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus to deliver pro-diplomacy petitions signed by hundreds of thousands of Americans to Capitol Hill. And just yesterday, thousands of MoveOn members joined a call with President Obama to talk about this historic opportunity.

Your call today will contribute to this loud, powerful, collective call for peace.

Thanks for all you do.

After President Obama's call, time to take action

President Obama's call with thousands of progressives tonight was inspiring. Here's what we have to do next.

Dear MoveOn member,

Tonight, in a call with thousands of MoveOn members and other progressives, President Obama made his case loud and clear for the diplomatic agreement with Iran—a deal brokered by the United States and five other world powers, and accepted by the United Nations.

Now, our job is to use the month of August to stop Democrats in Congress from joining with backward Republicans and killing this historic deal—potentially putting our nation on another path to war in the Middle East.1

MoveOn members have already contributed more than 206,000 petition signatures and made more than 5,500 calls to Congress in July alone. Now, we're turning our attention to town halls and other local events while members of Congress are back in their home states for recess. We know that proponents of war are spending tens of millions of dollars to be seen, so our representatives and senators who are sitting on the fence need to hear directly from constituents like us.

If you're ready to take action to protect the Iran nuclear agreement, will you click here to let us know?

Tonight, President Obama answered critics of the Iran nuclear agreement directly. On the call, he made clear that this deal will shrink, freeze, and wrap Iran's nuclear program in a monitoring regime so complete that Iran won't have any opportunity to get away with sidestepping its agreements. He also explained that opponents of the deal who claim that Iranians will be able to develop their nuclear capacity after 10 years under the deal ignore that without the agreement, they'd be able to do it in six months. Their logic doesn't add up.

As the president said, every argument against this nuclear agreement is either inaccurate or unrealistic. And the only actual alternative that Republicans are suggesting is the "Cotton Plan," named for Senator Tom Cotton, which is to bomb Iran.2

Perhaps the president's most inspiring words came at the end of the call, though, when he said in no uncertain terms:

You guys have to get more active and loud and involved and informed, and start making your voices heard with respect to members of Congress. Because the lobbying that's taking place on the other side is fierce, it is well-financed, it is relentless.

Now's the time to rally behind President for what could be the most important foreign policy achievement of his time in office.

If we're going to defeat this warmongering, we need to have a presence—a loud, forceful presence—at every public event we can throughout the month of August.

Click here if you can commit to taking at least one action in August to stop a war and defend the Iran nuclear agreement.

Thanks for all you do.

Add your name: I stand with Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood is under attack and needs our support! Sign the petition and tell Congress: I stand with Planned Parenthood.
Dear MoveOn member,

Republican leaders like Speaker John Boehner are leading an attack against Planned Parenthood. This is the GOP's latest stunt to take away women's rights to their own health care needs.

Can you join me in standing up for Planned Parenthood against the GOP's bogus attacks? Click here to add your name:

Stop the witch hunt against Planned Parenthood now. Some in Congress will do anything to shut them down and do away with women's rights to control their own bodies.

Republican leaders like Speaker John Boehner are calling for a formal investigation into Planned Parenthood after an edited video surfaced that falsely accused the organization of selling organs.1

Women and the men who love them must stand up, or we will have no rights and neither will our daughters.

Please join the fight for the reproductive rights and health care for all women and say "Enough!" to these bogus attacks!

Click here to add your name to this petition, and then pass it along to your friends.

Thanks!

Sandra Bland's death

Demand Justice for Sandra Bland. Tell the Department of Justice to conduct a thorough, independent investigation into Sandra Bland's death and hold all those responsible fully accountable.
More than 370,000 MoveOn members have already demanded an independent federal investigation into the arrest and death of Sandra Bland. On Thursday, MoveOn member Lois Wilkins will travel to Washington, D.C. and join leading civil rights organizations, including ColorofChange.org, to hand-deliver these signatures to the U.S. Department of Justice. Can you make sure she includes your name? Click here to sign the petition and demand an independent investigation of Sandra Bland's death.

Dear fellow MoveOn member,

I'm Lois Wilkins, a MoveOn member in Freeland, Michigan, and I started a petition to the U.S. Department of Justice which says:

Launch an immediate and independent federal investigation into Sandra Bland's traffic stop, arrest, and death, just days later, in a Texas jail. Circumstances surrounding her death are suspicious, and just-released video footage raises more unresolved questions and tensions about how Black people are treated by police in the United States.

The Department of Justice must conduct an independent investigation into the death of Sandra Bland in Texas. The circumstances surrounding her traffic stop are suspicious and deserve an independent, thorough, and accountable investigation—especially in light of new video footage.1

We cannot allow the local police to investigate themselves. The Department of Justice has the authority—and power—to find out what happened to Sandra Bland.

Demand justice: launch an independent federal investigation of Sandra Bland's death.

Click here to add your name to this petition, and then pass it along to your friends.

Thanks!

–Lois

Planned Parenthood hacked?

Anti-abortion hackers have reportedly attacked Planned Parenthood. The hackers say that they plan to release internal Planned Parenthood emails "soon."
Dear MoveOn member,

Late last night, anti-abortion hackers reportedly attacked Planned Parenthood. The hackers say that they plan to release internal Planned Parenthood emails "soon."
1

MoveOn has launched an emergency effort to defend Planned Parenthood by mobilizing public support. Will you chip in $3—and stand with Planned Parenthood in its moment of need?

Click here to chip in and help MoveOn defend Planned Parenthood and stop the attacks on abortion rights.

Yesterday's data breach is the latest in a two-week-long string of attacks. Here's what's happened so far:

  • Two weeks ago, a heavily edited, blatantly misleading video was released attacking Planned Parenthood.2
  • Within days of the video's release, Republicans in Congress started scheduling votes to defund Planned Parenthood and preparing even broader attacks on abortion rights.3
  • Next, another deceiving, doctored video was released, continuing the smear campaign against the largest reproductive health care provider in America.4
  • Yesterday, Senator Rand Paul announced he's trying to force a vote to eliminate Planned Parenthood's federal funding.5
  • Then late last night, Planned Parenthood's servers were reportedly hacked. The hackers plan to release internal emails "soon."6

It's clear that Planned Parenthood is under intense, sustained attack from the radical right. It's up to MoveOn members to stand with them now, and in the months ahead. Will you chip in $3 as we fight to defend Planned Parenthood?

Yes, I'll chip in to help MoveOn defend Planned Parenthood and stop the attacks on abortion rights.

It's particularly unnerving that employee information from Planned Parenthood may have been stolen last night. That could literally put lives at risk. A leader of one of the groups consulting on the anti-Planned Parenthood videos runs an organization whose members have bombed abortion clinics and assassinated an abortion provider.7

It's up to us to stand with the brave women and men of Planned Parenthood who are under attack—and who risk their lives to advocate for access to reproductive rights and abortion services

Will you chip in $3 and show your support?

Click here to chip in and help MoveOn defend Planned Parenthood and stop the attacks on abortion rights.

These ongoing attacks will inevitably hurt access for over 2.7 million people who turn to Planned Parenthood's nonprofit clinics each year for affordable health care services—not just abortion, but also cancer-prevention tests, well-woman visits, and access to birth control.8

With your help, we'll flood Capitol Hill with phone calls and mobilize grassroots voices all over the country to defend Planned Parenthood. Will you chip in $3?

Yes, I'll chip in to help MoveOn defend Planned Parenthood and stop the attacks on abortion rights.

Thanks for all you do.

URGENT: Planned Parenthood in trouble

Breaking news: Reuters reports that Senator Rand Paul is trying to force a vote to block federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
Dear MoveOn member,

Breaking news: Reuters reports that Senator Rand Paul is trying to force a vote to block federal funding for Planned Parenthood. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has started a "fast-track process" to bring Paul's legislation to the floor for a vote soon.1

This is just the latest attack against Planned Parenthood since a heavily edited, blatantly misleading video was released attacking Planned Parenthood two weeks ago.2

"The folks behind it are part of the most militant anti-abortion movement," said Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards today. "This entire effort is a political smear campaign."3

We're launching an emergency effort to defend Planned Parenthood, and we have to get going immediately. Will you make a contribution now to help us defend Planned Parenthood?

Yes, I'll chip in to help defend Planned Parenthood and stop the attacks on abortion rights.

Within days of the video's release, Republicans in Congress started scheduling votes to defund Planned Parenthood—and preparing even broader attacks on abortion rights.4

Then, another deceiving, doctored video was released, continuing the smear campaign against the largest reproductive health care provider in America.5

And now—today—Sen. Paul announced he's trying to force a vote to eliminate Planned Parenthood's federal funding.6

It's clear we're facing a highly coordinated attack on reproductive rights. To fight back, we're recruiting local voices all over the country to speak out in defense of Planned Parenthood—including doctors, women and men who have visited Planned Parenthood clinics, and others.

Planned Parenthood urgently needs people to stand with them now. Will you show your support?

Yes, I'll chip in to help defend Planned Parenthood and stop the attacks on abortion rights.

The mainstream news media has done a miserable job fact-checking this story, so let's set the record straight: The claim that Planned Parenthood profits from the sale of fetal tissue is a disgusting lie.

Here's the truth: When a woman chooses to terminate a pregnancy and donate tissue for medical research, Planned Parenthood honors those wishes. These donations are hugely valuable for research into diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.7

This is 100-percent legal, consistent with medical ethics, and no different than what happens in thousands of other medical situations every day.

Here's something else you might not have heard in the media: The anti-choice activists behind the video probably broke the law with their secret recording.8 And one of their leaders runs an organization whose members have bombed abortion clinics and assassinated an abortion provider.9

We don't have much time to fight back—Republicans in Congress are pushing to schedule votes to defund Planned Parenthood as soon as possible.

With your help, we'll flood Capitol Hill with phone calls and mobilize grassroots voices all over the country to defend Planned Parenthood. Will you chip in $3?

Yes, I'll chip in to help defend Planned Parenthood and stop the attacks on abortion rights.

Thanks for all you do.

–Victoria, Maria, Matt, Nick, and the rest of the team

P.S. Planned Parenthood is under attack because of its strong advocacy for reproductive rights and abortion services. But the organization is also a health care provider more generally. Over 2.7 million people turn to Planned Parenthood's nonprofit clinics in the U.S. each year for affordable health care services—including cancer-prevention tests, well-woman visits, and access to birth control.10

This is it. If Sen. Paul's bill passes and gets sent to President Obama's desk—or the vote is even close—it'll lead to even more vicious attacks on Planned Parenthood over the coming months and years. Will you chip in $3 and stand with Planned Parenthood right now in the face of this outrageous smear campaign?

Click here to chip in, help us defend Planned Parenthood, and stop these vicious attacks.

Do you have an idea for a petition? Help change the world and start your own MoveOn petition today.

Dear MoveOn member,

Ever heard Margaret Mead's famous saying? "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

That's the story of MoveOn. In 1998, when a Republican Congress was focusing all its efforts on impeaching President Clinton, two people with no political experience started a simple online petition: "Censure President Clinton and Move On to Pressing Issues Facing the Nation."

They shared their petition with their friends, and within days they had hundreds of thousands of signatures. Today, MoveOn has over 8 million members—mostly folks who got involved by signing an online petition, and have stayed active in helping to fight for a progressive America.

That's why we launched MoveOn Petitions where you can start your own online petition and invite your friends to sign it. We'll send the most popular petitions to other MoveOn members to help build support for your cause.

It's easy to get started—just click here.

Thanks!

Congress: Don't give sacred Apache land to a mining company

Dear MoveOn member,

Congress is poised to hand sacred Apache land in Arizona's Tonto National Forest to the multinational mining company Rio Tinto, after Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake tucked the giveaway into a military spending bill last December. Both senators have close ties to Rio Tinto.1

The Apache have held gatherings and ceremonies on the land, called Oak Flat, since "well before recorded history."2 Rio Tinto plans to establish a massive copper mine there, using an underground version of open-pit mining that will devastate the land.

But we can still save Oak Flat, because the land transfer isn't yet final. Today, Apache leaders are in Washington, D.C., meeting with members of Congress and rallying outside the U.S. Capitol.

Can you call Representative Gregory Meeks now? Tell him: "Please cosponsor the Save Oak Flat Act to stop a foreign mining company from destroying sacred Apache land."

Here's where to call:

Representative Gregory Meeks
Phone: (202) 225-3461

Then, please report your call by clicking here:

http://pol.moveon.org/call?tg=FHNY_05&cp_id=2304&id=125539-10220574-z6O7a7x&t=1

The Save Oak Flat Act (H.R. 2811), sponsored by Arizona Representative Raul Grijalva, simply repeals the congressional giveaway.3

Senators McCain and Flake inserted it into the 1600-page military spending bill behind closed doors and literally in the dead of night, with the news leaking out just before midnight on the day before the vote. Senator McCain is the top congressional recipient of Rio Tinto campaign contributions, and Senator Flake used to be a paid lobbyist for the company.4

Between 2005 and 2011, bills allowing Rio Tinto to mine the federally protected land died in committee five times in the U.S. House of Representatives and six times in the U.S. Senate.5 The bills were going absolutely nowhere until Senators McCain and Flake bypassed the democratic process.

Oak Flat is now on the 2015 list of America's 11 Most Endangered Historic Places.6

Apache leaders have been fighting back and building increasing pressure on Congress to reverse the land giveaway. At the rally today in Washington, D.C., MoveOn will join with Avaaz and others to deliver 885,000 signatures demanding Congress return the land to the Apache people.

With Apache leaders in Washington only through the end of the day, now is the time to act. Please help right a terrible wrong by calling Rep. Meeks now at (202) 225-3461 to save Oak Flat from copper mining before it's too late.

Thanks for all you do.

Say. Their. Names.

Far too many unarmed black men and women are dying at the hands of police. Will you chip in to fight back?
Dear MoveOn member,

We've just learned about an incredible opportunity to get the Black Lives Matter message out to millions of people—but we need to move quickly.

You know those giant billboards in Times Square? Tens of thousands of people see them every day—and they're usually not available for a nonprofit group like MoveOn to even consider.

But we've just gotten word that a major corporate advertiser canceled its ad buy at the last minute—and if we act now we can get it for the next month at a price we can actually afford.

Will you help us jump on this amazing opportunity?

Our plan is to use the space to list the names of unarmed Black women and men who recently were killed by police or died in police custody.

Eric Garner. Freddie Gray. Tamir Rice. Michael Brown. Walter Scott. Sandra Bland. The list goes on.

For years, the federal government has refused to even track this information. But now news sources like The Guardian have begun compiling complete lists of all the unarmed people killed by police—and this ad will allow us to begin making those names—and the problem of police violence—visible to millions more people.1

Usually one of these big Times Square billboards is way too expensive for a non-profit group like MoveOn. But because of this last minute cancellation we can snap up the billboard now. And a hard-hitting, potentially controversial ad like this could generate news media attention that you couldn't pay for if you wanted to.

But we don't have much time. The ad sales rep is literally sitting by the phone right now waiting to hear back from us.

If we can raise enough money in the next few hours, we'll be able to grab this billboard for at least 30 days starting August 1. Will you chip in $3?

Click here to chip in and help jump on this amazing opportunity.

Thanks for all you do.

Should MoveOn support this petition?

Dear MoveOn member,

A MoveOn member named Regina DeFalco Lippert recently created a petition on our public petition website entitled "Tell the CA Coastal Commission to say NO to SeaWorld!"—and we'd like to know what you think of it.

The petition is addressed to California Coastal Commission, San Diego Office, and reads:

SeaWorld in San Diego wants to build an enlarged killer whale "habitat," and has petitioned the California Coastal Commission for a permit to do so. But no tank or artificial "habitat" can EVER be large enough! Killer whales, and dolphins, belong ONLY in their natural habitat—the ocean—swimming wild and free! Captivity is cruelty!

Sign Regina's petition.

Here's what Regina wrote about it:

Orcas and dolphins suffer in captivity. They are sentient, highly intelligent marine mammals that live in family groups, and do not belong living in a chlorine-laden, confined tank their entire lives.

SeaWorld claims they love their orcas and dolphins, but 44 orcas have died at SeaWorld. They currently confine 23 orcas in their facilities, and these orcas have been separated from their mothers. In the wild, orcas seldom leave their mother's side, even when fully grown.

SeaWorld blatantly lies in it's newest TV ads, claiming that their orcas live the same lifespan as they do in the wild, but over 90% of their orcas have not survived beyond 25 years! In the wild, a female orca can live up to 80 to 90 years. All SeaWorld cares about are their profits—if they truly cared about the orcas and dolphins, they would NOT keep them in captivity in the first place! SeaWorld should NOT be granted a permit to build a larger tank—they need to stop imprisoning orcas, and dolphins!

Can you click to let us know what you think?

I want to sign this petition.

I don't think MoveOn should support this petition.

We'll decide whether to send this petition out to additional MoveOn members in your area based on your feedback.

In case you haven't heard about it, MoveOn's petition site allows anyone to start an online petition and share it with friends and neighbors to build support for their cause.

Thanks for all you do.

Stunning: New York Times

This is stunning: The New York Times reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is gearing up "to lobby Congress to reject the [Iran] deal and ultimately override any presidential veto."

Dear MoveOn member,

This is stunning: The New York Times reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu—who gave a speech undermining President Obama's negotiations with Iran in front of Congress this past spring—is gearing up "to lobby Congress to reject the [Iran] deal and ultimately override any presidential veto."1

Netanyahu's speech in front of Congress—without first notifying the White House—was a breach of diplomatic protocol and an insult to President Obama.2 And now, Netanyahu is trying to exploit partisan politics to undermine the president once again.

We need to make sure Congress sides with President Obama—not Netanyahu and the Republican war hawks he emboldens. Will you chip in $3 to help us ensure that President Obama's approach to Iran has a chance to succeed?

Click here to chip in and help stop the rush to war.

As Netanyahu lobbies Congress, the cries of war hawks will only grow louder. Jeb Bush calls diplomatic efforts with Iran "appeasement."3 Scott Walker predicted it would be "one of America's worst diplomatic failures."4 Lindsey Graham called it a "nightmare." And Donald Trump said "we look so desperate, and it's a disgrace."6

The fact is that none of these people—Netanyahu, Bush, Trump, or the 47 Republican senators who had previously tried to sabotage diplomacy by signing a letter to the government of Iran aiming to derail the Obama administration's talks—represent the view of the overwhelming number of Americans who support a diplomatic resolution to the standoff over Iran's nuclear program.7

This is a historic moment. To make sure President Obama's deal survives, we all need to push back against the war hawks and fear mongers—foreign and domestic—who are trying to put us on a path to war. Can you chip in $3 to defend President Obama's deal from war hawks like Benjamin Netanyahu, Jeb Bush, and Donald Trump—and seize this historic opportunity?

Click here to chip in and help stand up to war hawks.

MoveOn members have been essential in defending diplomacy thus far. The New York Times cited MoveOn as one of the leading groups that will defend this deal as Congress prepares to vote on it in the next 60 days.

Here's how we'll play a leading role in this make-or-break effort over the next 60 days:

  • A round-the-clock online and field rapid-response command center. We'll have our creative, political, and field teams on the ready to respond with powerful ads, on-the-ground events, and social media campaigns to make sure anytime there's a new attack ad, an outrageous comment, or a misinformed member of Congress, we're there.
  • An on-the-ground effort in eight critical states, targeting Senate Democrats who could make or break the deal. We'll hire a dedicated team of organizers and mobilize thousands of MoveOn members on the ground to convince wavering Senate Democrats.
  • Accountability for Democrats. We'll track where every single Senate Democrat stands—and what they're saying. We'll shift resources and apply intense pressure to on-the-fence Democrats when it's needed most.

Will you chip in $3 to help us make sure the voices of Americans who want peace are heard more loudly than the saber-rattling of Netanyahu, Bush, and others?

Yes, I'll chip in and help stop the rush to war.

To secure victory, we must spend the next 60 days showing that Americans stand for peace and diplomacy. It'll take one hell of a fight—and massive resources—but with your help, we can win.

Thanks for all you do.

Tell Congress: Don't undermine Obama's Iran deal

The diplomatic deal with Iran is the greatest chance we've had for peace through diplomacy in a generation.
Dear MoveOn member,

Finally: We have a comprehensive, verifiable, long-term diplomatic agreement with Iran.

Now it's up to MoveOn members to fight like hell to make sure Democrats in Congress defend this diplomatic agreement. The clock is ticking. We have less than 60 days until a make-or-break vote that will determine whether this deal is allowed to move forward. Less than 60 days to decide whether we're on a path to peace or war with Iran.1

Will Democrats accept this deal that cuts off Iran's pathway to developing a nuclear weapon for more than a decade, in exchange for easing some international sanctions—or will they allow Republicans to scuttle it, likely putting our nation on the path to another unnecessary war in the Middle East?

Make no mistake, Republicans can't prevail unless Democrats help them. Some Democrats are already wavering, and even the best Democrats have been more muted on this issue than we need them to be. That's why it's imperative that we call Senator Charles Schumer, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, and Representative Gregory Meeks right now with a strong "defend the deal" message.

You can say:
"Republicans will try to take us to war by sabotaging the Iran nuclear deal. I urge you to support the deal and stop the Republicans from starting another costly war in the Middle East."

Here's where to call:

Senator Charles Schumer
Phone: (202) 224-6542

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand
Phone: (202) 224-4451

Representative Gregory Meeks
Phone: (202) 225-3461

Then, please report your call by clicking here:

The American public backs a diplomatic deal with Iran by a 2-1 margin.2 Nonproliferation, nuclear policy, and national security experts agree that a diplomatic resolution is by far the best way to ensure that Iran never builds a nuclear weapon.3 And President Obama promised to veto any anti-diplomacy legislation and to defend this hard-won and verifiable deal.4

This should be a total no-brainer for Democrats. But far too many are feeling acute pressure from lobbyists who oppose diplomacy and the bite of unrelenting attack adsprodding them to cross over and stand with partisan Republicans eager to hand President Obama a loss on this.5

That's why we all need to lift our voices right now. Can you pick up the phone and call Sen. Schumer, Sen. Gillibrand, and Rep. Meeks?

You can say:

MoveOn members have been staunch defenders of diplomacy—and the peace it represents—for years. We've made tens of thousands of calls to Congress and generated hundreds of thousands of petition signatures.

We can win this fight. But it will take all of us who believe in diplomacy and who want a more progressive foreign policy—all of us who know our nation can win without war—acting together to make sure Democrats in Congress heed our call for peace and stand strong for diplomacy with Iran.

Please don't wait. Call today.

Thanks for all you do.
