Report your call and watch the video from Rep. Raul Grijalva

Dear MoveOn member,

Democrats are aiming to finalize the health care bill in the next week or two—so the coming days could be our last chance to push for crucial fixes in the final package.1

Progressive leaders like Rep. Raul Grijalva, co-chair of the Progressive Caucus and tireless advocate for real reform, are making headway fighting for key fixes in the final bill.2 As he says in a special new video message for MoveOn members, "The fight's not over."

But Grijalva and other progressives can't do it alone—all members of Congress need to hear from voters demanding the strongest final bill possible.

Can you call Rep. McCarthy right away? Tell her the final bill must do five things: include a public option, make health care accessible and affordable, hold insurance companies accountable, protect women's health care, and finance reform fairly.

Here's where to call:

Like Rep. Grijalva says in his video message, the hard work of regular folks like all of us is a major reason why we've gotten as far as we have in the health care fight. It's a big part of why the House of Representatives passed a strong bill in November, one that would cover 36 million Americans, offer the choice of a national public option, and enact regulations with the teeth to keep insurance companies honest.

But unfortunately, the Senate bill—with no public option, weaker insurance regulations, and coverage for 5 million fewer people—is seriously flawed. And both bills include dangerous provisions to curb women's right to choose.

Now, with Congress merging the two bills, they must fix these major flaws in the final bill.

Can you call Rep. McCarthy today? Make sure she knows you and voters like you are fighting for these key fixes in the final bill.
