RSVP: Attend a vigil for El Paso on Wednesday near you

Immigrants' rights organizations are calling for #ElPasoFirme (El Paso Strong) vigils tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7. Can you attend?

Dear MoveOn member,

Saturday's tragedy in El Paso killed 22 people and impacted countless lives. It was also an explicit attack on immigrants and Latinos throughout this country, and that affects all of us. It's our shared responsibility to speak out against white supremacy and intolerance and to build an America where all of us are safe.

Immigrants' rights organizations are calling for #ElPasoFirme (El Paso Strong) vigils tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7, in solidarity with the people of El Paso, with immigrants, and against white supremacy and violence. And there's one being organized in your area.

Can you attend an #ElPasoFirme vigil this Wednesday evening? RSVP here for details on the event near you.

These #ElPasoFirme actions are being anchored by the Border Network for Human Rights, RAICES, the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, the Poor People's Campaign, and others, including MoveOn. They will lift up the voices of immigrants and allies around the country—as we all come together to remember the lives lost and recommit to confronting the hatred, racism, and violence of white supremacy.

Will you speak out against white supremacy and join members of your community at an #ElPasoFirme vigil Wednesday evening, and help spread the word?

Thanks for all you do.

–Victoria, Chris, Justin, Emma, and the rest of the team
