Over the last week, there's been an avalanche of damning evidence against Donald Trump.
On the Rachel Maddow Show, Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas publicly confirmed that Trump directly approved efforts to pressure Ukraine to investigate the Bidens.1
Maddow also exposed text messages suggesting that Trump's team had Marie Yovanovitch, the then-U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, under surveillance as part of an effort to smear her and "get her out of the way."2
And the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office concluded that the Trump administration's withholding of the aid to Ukraine violated the law.3
We need only four Republican senators to insist on a fair trial to break through Mitch McConnell's stonewalling, and several are publicly wavering in the face of all this new evidence. But we are running out of time to stop McConnell from ramming through this rigged kangaroo court phony trial.

McConnell's handling of the Trump impeachment trial has been so appalling that the ethics chief for former Republican President George H.W. Bush declared Mitch McConnell a "perjurer" as a result of McConnell's public admission that he would violate his oath to be an impartial juror in Trump's impeachment trial.4
To keep the pressure on, we're driving mobile billboards all over the states of the Republican senators most likely to flip on McConnell, holding high-visibility events outside their offices, generating thousands of phone calls to their offices, and so much more.
But we have very little time now to actually get the trial we need. If McConnell has his way, the entire impeachment trial could be over in the blink of an eye without a single witness called. Not only would Trump get away with his unbelievable abuses of power, it would set a precedent that effectively ends impeachment as a meaningful check on the presidency.

Let's remember what this is all about: The president of the United States was caught trading U.S. national security interests to smear a political opponent.
If not for the White House whistleblower and other government officials stepping in, Trump was prepared to let Vladimir Putin continue his invasion of Ukraine and destabilize the entire region—just to help smear Joe Biden and win re-election.
Just imagine if Harry Truman had teamed up with the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War to help win re-election. Or if FDR had secretly teamed up with the emperor of Japan to help Democrats win more seats in Congress during World War II. That's what we're talking about here, and if the Senate, after everything we've learned, turns a blind eye to these crimes, our democracy will be forever damaged.
