Do you know anyone in Pennsylvania or Florida?

Join the Vote Mobilizer community and make sure your friends in key battleground states vote by November 3.

Dear MoveOn member,

Your friends in Pennsylvania and Florida could be the difference between whether Joe Biden or Donald Trump wins this election—and you could be the difference between whether or not your friends vote.

Living in New York, it's critical for you to be a voter and cast your ballot by November 3 for progressives up and down the ballot. But there's another key role you can play: We already know that—thanks to our archaic Electoral College system—this election could come down to a few key states like Pennsylvania and Florida.

If you have friends or family in Pennsylvania and/or Florida, you can join our Vote Mobilizer community and get the tools, resources, and support you need to make sure they all vote by November 3.

Do you have friends in Pennsylvania and/or Florida? If so, sign up here to become a Vote Mobilizer and help ensure that they cast their vote by November 3.

Unsure which friends live in battleground states? Look up your friends on Facebook by state: If you're logged into Facebook, you can search for friends in Pennsylvania using this link and look for friends in Florida using this link.

Mar, we've looked at the research, and the lesson is clear: There's simply nothing more effective at encouraging someone to be a voter than a personalized message from a friend or family member.

That's why thousands of MoveOn members have already signed up to join our Vote Mobilizer community and work with others all across the country to build out vote teams and help make sure their friends and family members cast their votes.

I know firsthand how important it is to talk to our friends in other states about becoming voters.

In 2004, my best friend, who lives in Florida, chose not to vote, because back then no one had ever talked to her about the importance of voting. When I found this out, I felt heartbroken. I wished I'd talked to her, and I wish we had made a plan together for her to vote.

Since then, I've made it my business to talk to everyone I love about their voting plans, and here's what I've found: When people discuss voting with people they trust, they're much more likely to feel invested and to carry out their intentions to vote. My entire community votes, because we are committed to each other's survival and well-being.

MoveOn's Mobilize to Win program makes it easy to do what I've been doing for years—to plan with your community and to hold each other accountable to vote with our values and our love for one another in mind. I hold this to be true: Friends don't let friends skip out on voting.

Voting has already started, and we're just a few short weeks away from November 3. Will you join our Vote Mobilizer community and make sure friends in Pennsylvania and Florida vote? Sign up here.

And if you're having trouble remembering which of your friends live in Pennsylvania and Florida, you can search on Facebook using this link for friends who live in Pennsylvania and this link for friends who live in Florida.

Thanks for all you do.
