In less than two weeks, Republicans could force America into default and crash our whole economy in order to protect tax breaks for corporations and millionaires—unless Democrats like Representative Carolyn McCarthy stop them.
In this moment of crisis, Rep. McCarthy needs a clear message from you: Don't Let Them Default on the American Dream.
Because that's what will happen if the nation defaults on our debt or Republicans get a debt deal that cuts Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid benefits.

Across the country this weekend, over 25,000 MoveOn members and others met at more than 1,500 house meetings to begin the work to rebuild the American Dream.
But that work could be set back years by a national default or if Republicans strip away the victories won by progressives over the past 60 years. And that's where the negotiations seem headed, unless we can change them.
Many of the American Dreamers who took part in this weekend's meetings are already out in force at Democratic offices across the country with this clear message: Don't Let Them Default on the American Dream. Can you back them up by delivering it to Rep. McCarthy too?
