Dear MoveOn member,
On Friday, at 100 campaign offices nationwide, thousands of MoveOn members delivered a message directly to Mitt Romney demanding that he release his tax returns.1 It's working. Pressure is mounting from all sides—even Republicans are urging Romney to release his returns.2
Mitt Romney will stop at nothing to hide from the public the fact that he's a 1% candidate. That's why, this election, we're organizing to make sure voters know the truth about Tricky Mitt.
To kick-start our people-powered campaign for a 99% victory in November, members are throwing 2012 election parties on July 21 and 22. The parties are a great way for MoveOn members to meet, talk about the fall election, and build community.
There are over 200 parties happening so far, but many will fill up quickly, leaving some people without a party to attend. Can you throw a 2012 Election Community Party in Inwood so that no MoveOn member gets left out?
There are 7 million MoveOn members—that's enough muscle to match the 1%. To leverage our size and power, we need members like you to throw a party. By throwing one, you're multiplying your impact by getting more MoveOn members to fight for the 99% this election.
Election parties are fun and easy to throw, and all the steps and materials for a good time are provided. We need to connect more MoveOn members in Inwood so we're ready to stop Romney and the 1% from winning in November.
Can you help and host a party Saturday or Sunday, July 21 or 22?
Thanks for all you do.
