Dear MoveOn member,
We all know that Donald Trump has been the most destructive president in recent history—and not only the most destructive: the most blatantly racist and focused upon voter suppression and dividing us rather than bringing us together to solve the huge problems that confront us.
We also know this beyond a shadow of a doubt: All of us must come together to not only defeat him in November but to flip the Senate from Republican control, preserve the House Democratic majority, and advance progressive candidates up and down the ballot. And to do this, we must articulate a bold, passionate, values-based progressive vision that excites people to vote in November and remain engaged in the work to undo the damage that Trumpism, Mitch McConnell, and their supporters in Congress have inflicted upon our country.
We must advance bold policies and engage folks from all walks of life in our political process. We must organize with tenacity, clarity, and purpose to inform, educate, and inspire voters to tune in and remain engaged for the long haul. This is going to take a powerful coalition, the kind that I've been building throughout my career and the kind I know that MoveOn and other progressive allies are building this year. If we accomplish this, not only will it lead to a victory for Joe Biden but also for progressive candidates nationwide at the congressional, state, and local levels.
Tomorrow night, I will be part of a livestream with progressive champion Senator Elizabeth Warren, U.S. Senate candidate from South Carolina Jaime Harrison and the team from MoveOn to talk about how we build the types of coalitions we need for electoral and policy success.

If we want to win big in November, we're going to have to build an unprecedented coalition of Americans, one that spans race, ethnicity, religion, age, and gender. We'll need to win support among urban, suburban, and rural voters. We're going to have to spread our message of an America for all to every corner of the nation and then mobilize our communities to make this message a reality.
We will also be hearing from Rahna Epting, MoveOn's executive director, about MoveOn's America for All campaign, MoveOn for Biden, and Vote Tripling with organizer training opportunities that are taking place soon. We will be thrilled to be joined by MoveOn members across the country for this important conversation and excited to learn from all of you as well.
