Governor Ralph Northam

His yearbook page featured racist imagery: blackface and KKK garb. The only possible action left at this moment is for him to resign immediately. That's the first step toward making amends.

Tell the Governor Ralph Northam that we won't tolerate racism. He must resign immediately. Click here to sign my petition.

Dear MoveOn member,

I'm Karon H., a MoveOn member in Virginia, and I started a petition which says:

Show the governor that we will not tolerate racism in Virginia. He must resign immediately.

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam's 1984 Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) yearbook page featured racist imagery: blackface and KKK garb. He admitted to being one of the men in the picture yesterday but now claims he doesn't think it was him. The racist image, however, is still on his personalized yearbook page.

I am outraged that he didn't disclose this during the election and made it this far without us knowing. This clearly shows how the system is set up to protect racism and uphold white supremacy.

The only possible action left at this moment is for him to resign immediately. That's the first step toward making amends.

Click here to add your name to this petition, and then pass it along to your friends.

Thanks!
