No, no, no. NO!

The Republican candidates and right-wing groups have already reserved more than $40 million for TV ads in Georgia through election day on January 5, compared with less than $7 million for the Democrats.

Dear MoveOn member,

We have a problem, Mar. As you well know, Georgia's runoff elections for two Senate seats will determine whether there's gridlock or progress in Washington on everything from coronavirus relief and funding for vaccine distribution to climate change and racial justice. And the latest news from Georgia is very, very bad.

The Republican candidates and right-wing groups have already reserved more than $40 million for TV ads in Georgia through election day on January 5, compared with less than $7 million for the Democrats.1 And now news has broken that Karl Rove is leading a big, new GOP fundraising effort to win in Georgia.2

The Democratic candidates are being buried in an avalanche of Republican propaganda. The Democrats' messages about fighting for affordable health care for all are being drowned out by a cacophony of right-wing lies and fearmongering.

If we don't act fast, all of the ad space in Georgia will be gone. That's why MoveOn is launching an emergency campaign to raise the money to reserve as much TV and radio ad space as possible so we can help reach high-potential voters in Georgia—especially Black voters who were responsible for delivering the state for Joe Biden—and help them turn out for Democrats Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff on January 5.

We need your urgent help to reserve TV ad space before it's gone, keep the ads up through the election, and head into 2021 strong and able to fight for progressive change with Joe Biden in the White House. Will you chip in $5 a month to help out?

Yes, I'll chip in.

No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

Republicans have flooded Georgia with cash because they are desperate to do whatever they can—including spreading misinformation, engaging in voter suppression, and blanketing the airwaves with disgusting lies about the Democratic candidates—to maintain control of the Senate when Joe Biden takes office in January.

And we know what will happen if they do.

As majority leader, Mitch McConnell will refuse to allow votes on any legislation put forth by the Biden administration—and just as they have done for years, Republican senators will all fall in line.

That means no desperately needed stimulus payments for families struggling in the midst of the pandemic. No criminal justice reform. No climate change legislation. No judicial appointments. Nothing.

To give Joe Biden and Kamala Harris the best chance to create real change and help communities that have been under attack during Donald Trump's time in office, we need to fight like hell to win these runoffs and flip the Senate.

The companies that sell television and radio ad space in Georgia have let us know that if we don't purchase time right now, all of the space might be gone before we get the chance to get our messages in support of Rev. Warnock and Jon Ossoff on the air. We can't let that happen.

So we need your help. Will you chip in $5 a month to reserve TV ad time in the Georgia races before it's too late, keep the ads up to power Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock to victory, and enable us to keep up the fight in 2021?

Yes, I'll chip in monthly.

No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

Here's the good news: Georgia just proved that this race is winnable, because voters turned out in droves and flipped the state blue in the presidential election. That win was fueled by grassroots activism and support from Black women and people of color across the state, and we can do it again in January—if we get our message out.

And the latest poll in the runoff races shows that both races are neck and neck.3

But we face an uphill battle, because Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are already spreading disgusting lies about the Democratic candidates to try to suppress turnout, and they've got hundreds of millions of dollars to back them up.

If we're going to have a fighting chance, we need to hit back on the airwaves.

Please, Mar: We just made history together by defeating Trump. Let's do it again and take the gavel from Mitch McConnell.

If you can, will you chip in $5 a month now to help us win in Georgia, flip the Senate, and give Joe Biden and Kamala Harris a path to achieve a bold agenda during their administration.

Yes, I'll chip in monthly.

No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

Thanks for all you do.
