In this election, voters from all walks of life—young and old, new citizens and Native Americans, of every race and background, in small towns and in big cities—came together to defeat Donald Trump and choose love over hate, truth over lies, democracy over fascism, and science over fiction.
Our record-setting turnout has washed Trump out of office.
Because of us, Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States, and Kamala Harris will make history when she is inaugurated as vice president.

MoveOn members like you fueled the most powerful election campaign in our 22-year history and helped reach tens of millions of voters in critical battleground states. Our efforts—your efforts—helped deliver this remarkable victory.
For four years, Trump and his allies have done so much to violate our rights, damage our communities, and pervert our Constitution. The wall. The Muslim Ban. The cages. He pandered to white supremacists. He stole from the working class and gave away our money to massive corporations. And he tried—desperately—to undermine our democracy and suppress our votes.
But every step of the way, we fought back. We rose up. We signed petitions. We marched. We protested.
And then, we voted him out in numbers this nation had never seen before.
As the old saying goes: They tried to bury us. They didn't know we were seeds.
There's no doubt about it: We have a lot of work ahead of us, including the continuing work to win control of the Senate in the Georgia runoffs. But today, we celebrate our huge victory.
