Should MoveOn support this petition?

Your answer will help decide whether MoveOn will support this campaign.

Dear MoveOn Member,

A MoveOn member named zackary bell recently created a petition on our public petition website entitled "Remove single use plastics from school lunchrooms across the entire U.S"–and we'd like to know what you think of it.

The petition is addressed to House of Representatives, United States Senate, President Joe Biden, and reads:

I want congress and President Joe Biden to come together to pass legislation to remove single use plastics from school lunchrooms across the entire U.S. once all schools are back to their usual schedule where both school offered breakfast and lunch Is ate during school

Sign zackary's petition.

Here's what zackary wrote about it:

single use plastics require oil, water and other resources to make and are made with the intention to be used once then thrown away. once thrown away single use plastics can harm wildlife. we must come together to remove single plastics from lunchrooms across the entire U.S.

Can you click to let us know what you think?

I want to sign this petition.

I don't think MoveOn should support this petition.

We'll decide whether to send this petition out to additional MoveOn members in your area based on your feedback.

In case you haven't heard about it, MoveOn's petition site allows anyone to start an online petition and share it with friends and neighbors to build support for their cause.

Thanks for all you do.
