Today, thousands of MoveOn members are stopping by local congressional offices to show support for voting rights. 

For Democratic representatives, we have a special message: a thank-you for supporting voting rights, along with a request to help strengthen and pass the Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2014.

In Republican districts, MoveOn members are also visiting their local congressional offices and asking their representatives to co-sponsor the bill—and to move it quickly to a vote.

This is a rare opportunity to pass critical, bipartisan legislation through the House this year. And many Democrats, with their long history of supporting voting rights, are working behind the scenes to bring it to a vote before the election.

We need them to know we've got their back.
