Tell us about your "Stop Trump's #SwampCabinet" rally

15,000 people took part! How was your #SwampCabinet rally?

Dear Eddie,

Thank you for attending a "Stop Trump's #SwampCabinet" rally Tuesday!

Have you seen Rachel Maddow's report on what you made possible along with our friends at Indivisible, Working Families Party, and People's Action?

All told, more than 15,000 people came out Tuesday to let senators of both parties know that Trump's #SwampCabinet is dangerous and must be opposed. Together we rallied peacefully at more than 200 events at Senate Republicans' and Democrats' offices in 43 states. Check out some of these numbers: 1,000 people in New York City, 500 in Philadelphia, 270 in Denver, 220 in Dallas!

Can you take a few moments to tell us about your experience?

Your feedback is critical—it helps us learn and maximize our impact as we plan future actions.

In addition to telling us about your experience, here are a few important next steps:

  • National Debrief Call - TONIGHT, Thursday, January 26, 8 p.m. ET (7 CT/6 MT/5pm PT). Join us tonightThursday, January 26 for our national debrief call for everyone who took part in this week's #ResistTrumpTuesday action. Come and share stories, build relationships with other members from around the country, and plan for next week's action. Click here to register for tonight's national debrief call.
  • #ResistTrumpTuesdays, January 31So many participants in this week's actions are already planning next week's. Let's do this! Next week the Senate will hold hearings or votes on Jeff Sessions, Betsy DeVos, and Andrew Puzder—and we expect more unconstitutional executive orders and continued discussion of cruel and costly efforts to gut health care. Showing up at our members of Congress' offices can have a real impact on both how some swing Republicans vote and whether Democrats put up a fight. Click here to register your Tuesday, January 31 rally at your senator's or representative's district office and we'll help recruit more people to join you. (First, look to see if someone's already created an event in your area; if they have, RSVP and contact the host to let them know you'd like to co-host!)
  • Join our Slack team to meet other MoveOn members, share ideas, and ask questions. Click here to join the team, and once you sign in, find the channel #resisttrumptuesdays.

Don't forget to complete the survey about your experience!

Thanks for all you do.

—Chris, Gabby, Vicki, Katie, and the rest of the team

P.S. Did you take pictures at your event? Send photos to photos@moveon.org, post them on social media using #swampcabinet and #resisttrumptuesdays and tag @MoveOn, and share them on Slack. And did you take Facebook Live or other video? Share the link to your videos here.

P.P.S. After taking the survey, click here to register for tonight's national debrief call at 8 p.m. ET(7 CT/6 MT/5 PT).

Want to support our work? The MoveOn community will work every moment, day by day and year by year, to resist Trump's agenda, contain the damage, defeat hate with love, and begin the process of swinging the nation's pendulum back toward sanity, decency, and the kind of future that we must never give up on. And to do it we need your ongoing support, now more than ever. Will you stand with us?
