For over a year, radiation has been leaking from Japan's disabled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant,1 which was badly damaged in the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. However, the for-profit company tasked with containing the leaks, TEPCO, didn't tell the public until recently.2
