Add your name: Welcome Syrian refugees to the U.S.

Join me in calling for our government to show leadership and kindness by accepting more refugees from Syria.
Dear fellow MoveOn member,

Seeing images of dead children washing ashore is devastating and has convinced me that we need to do something to help Syrian refugees.

That's why I started a petition to Congress and President Barack Obama urging the U.S. to accept more Syrian refugees. Click here to add your name.

There is a refugee crisis happening right now, and the U.S. needs to show leadership and kindness by accepting these refugees from Syria and elsewhere.

I think we're all disturbed by the danger people are undertaking on their journeys to Europe, and the number of deaths we have witnessed is heartbreaking.

Germany is accepting 800,000 refugees, while we are only accepting in the few thousands.1 We have the wealth to do it, so let's do it!

MoveOn members like us have already contributed over $200,000 to directly support Syrian refugee families. But we can't stop there. Let's speak out together, too.

Thanks for your help.
