TODAY: Calls for the Supreme Court!

Dear MoveOn member,

On the very first day Senators are back home for spring recess, let's make sure they hear the sound of their constituents, as we raise our voices together—calling for a fair and timely hearing and a vote for Supreme Court nominee, Judge Merrick Garland.

While thousands of MoveOn members and allies from 40 national organizations stage demonstrations outside Senate district offices across the country (as we will during today's day of action), we can make sure that the phones inside the offices of Senate Democrats are ringing with the same message: "Senator, we're counting on you to lead the Supreme Court fight in the Senate."

Will you call Senator Charles Schumer and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand today and tell them that you are counting on them to lead the fight for a timely and fair hearing and vote for Judge Garland?

You can say,"The Constitution makes it perfectly clear. The president has done his job. I'm counting on Sen. Schumer and Sen. Gillibrand to lead the fight in the Senate for a fair and timely hearing and a vote for Judge Garland."

The majority of Americans want lawmakers to do their job and fill the empty seat on the Supreme Court.1

Because we can help end decades of conservative control of our nation's highest court.

Because the GOP's reckless obstruction is a threat to the Constitution and yet another attempt to undermine the president and our democracy.

Will you pick up the phone right now and call Sen. Schumer and Sen. Gillibrand?

Please click here to find the telephone number of the district office closest to you.

You can say,"The Constitution makes it perfectly clear. The president has done his job. I'm counting on Sen. Schumer and Sen. Gillibrand to lead the fight in the Senate for a fair and timely hearing and a vote for Judge Garland."

There is power in numbers.

Power in raising our voices together.

Power that Senate Democrats can’t ignore—especially once their district phones start ringing!

Thanks for all you do.
