The Trump administration's decision to reverse Obama-era bans on the importation of elephant parts from animals trophy hunted in Zimbabwe and Zambia threatens the survival of these species. Please sign the petition to support a continued ban.

The Trump administration has announced that they will end a ban on the importation of the remains of elephants hunted in Zimbabwe and Zambia.¹ This action will encourage more killing of these already threatened animals.

Please sign the petition asking the Department of the Interior to maintain the ban on trophy hunters' importing endangered elephants' body parts into the United States.

The recent decision to reverse Obama-era bans on the importation of elephant parts from animals trophy hunted in Zimbabwe and Zambia threatens the survival of these species. Please reconsider this misguided decision and maintain the ban.

Reversing the ban now, when Zimbabwe is in political chaos and appears to have no ability or desire to protect its elephants, is outrageous and inexplicable.² The Trump administration and Department of the Interior must reverse this decision and leave the ban in place.
