Congress: No more tax dollars for slaughter in Yemen

More than 60 children between the ages of 8 and 14 were hit by an airstrike. They were on a field trip. Fifty-four people—mostly children—were killed.

Dear fellow MoveOn member,

I'm Michael Winslow, a concerned MoveOn member in Sacramento, California, and I started a petition to the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate about the catastrophe in Yemen.

For years, our government has been using our tax dollars to support the reckless Saudi-led attacks in Yemen that are killing civilians. Recently, more than 60 children between the ages of 8 and 14 were hit by an airstrike. They were on a field trip. Fifty-four people—mostly children—were killed.1

Click here to sign the petition demanding Congress stop supporting these attacks in Yemen.

Stop using Americans' hard-earned tax dollars to support the Saudi-led campaign in Yemen that has killed tens of thousands of civilians and left 8 million on the brink of famine.

Yemen's civil war has become one of the world's largest humanitarian crises, and U.S. taxpayers are footing the bill by providing Saudi Arabia with bombs, refueling, and tactical support.2 There's no clear stake for the United States in this conflict, but nonetheless we keep funneling millions to a conflict that has had dire consequences for civilians in Yemen.

Click here to add your name to this petition, and then pass it along to your friends.

Thanks!

–Michael Winslow
