Saturday in NYC: Rise up for Roe Tour with Chelsea Clinton and me

The landmark decision cementing a woman's right to choose is under attack from Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. The landmark decision cementing a woman's right to choose is under attack from Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.

Dear MoveOn member,

A woman's right to safely and legally seek an abortion is under attack.

Donald Trump made it very clear—far before Justice Kennedy stepped down—that his choice for the Supreme Court would come from a list of pre-approved candidates, all of whom would overturn the landmark decision in Roe v. Wade.1

Join me tomorrow in New York City to get loud and rally with the Rise Up for Roe Tour at Metropolitan Pavilion.

We can't go back. If Roe is overturned, abortions will not stop. They will simply go back to being unsafe, unregulated, and only an option to those with access to the money and transportation needed. Women will die, and every Senator who didn't do everything they could to stop Kavanaugh's nomination will be to blame.

That's why fierce and feisty women like Teen Vogue columnist Lauren Duca, activist Chelsea Clinton, activist Jess Morales Rocketto, and I are coming together on the Rise Up for Roe tour with Demand Justice Initiative, NARAL, and Planned Parenthood Action Fund. We are traveling to 10 states to ensure key senators get the message: Protect women by voting no on Kavanaugh.

Click here to RSVP for the Rise up for Roe Tour on Saturday, August 11th and raise your voice to protect women's right to choose.

As Minority Leader, Senator Chuck Schumer has the power to keep the Democratic caucus together and help block this nomination. But Schumer is not using that power, letting more vulnerable senators like Joe Manchin say favorable things about Kavanaugh in the press, and making it clear that Democrats are not united or geared up for the fight ahead.

Show up to tell Senator Schumer you need him to fight for Roe. Click here to RSVP.

Thanks for all you do.
