Dear MoveOn member,
I'll cut to the chase. Will you give whatever hours you can between now and when the polls close on Election Day to help get out the vote with MoveOn's ambitious, effective, critical voter turnout program?
Yes, I'm in—I can make calls to voters.
By now, we all know the stakes of this election—and the choice between a dangerous authoritarian demagogue or a woman of great experience and commitment, running on the most progressive major-party platform ever.
But if you're not sure how to do it, here's the good news: MoveOn has made it easy for all of us, wherever we live, to talk to the voters who could decide this election.
Start making calls now. (You'll be calling progressive voters in swing states, you'll need a computer and phone, and MoveOn will teach you everything you need to know. Your number will remain hidden from callers. You can also sign up for other shifts over the next three days.)
Can't make calls? Join the text team. (You'll be texting MoveOn members to ask them to join our efforts in this final push or texting progressive voters in swing states to remind them to vote. Volunteering with MoveOn's texting system won't use any text messages on your cell phone's plan—just data or Wi-Fi, and your cell phone number will stay private.)
My friends at MoveOn say it's been thrilling to see people pouring in during these crucial final days. Tens of thousands of MoveOn members are knocking on doors of progressives in key states, making calls to swing state voters, even using innovative tools to sign up more volunteers via text messaging.
We just can't leave anything to chance. We all remember that Al Gore "lost" Florida by 537 votes in 2000. In state after state, we might be looking at margins just that narrow once again. We have to give it everything we can.
And this election is about more than the White House. We have the chance to elect true progressive champions to the Senate and take control back from the Republican obstructionists. This could mean progress on tackling climate change, fixing our rigged economy, getting big money out of politics ... and filling the vacant seat on the Supreme Court.
I don't want to wake up on November 9 and wonder whether I could have done more. If a state like Florida is decided by 537 votes, I want to have swayed some of those critical voters. So I'm giving it my all. And I hope you will too.
Will you give whatever hours you can over this final push to talk to the progressive voters who will make the difference?

Thanks for all you do.
