The Cassidy-Graham bill is the newest version of Trumpcare that will take away health care from millions of Americans. We, the people of New York, urge our senators to defeat all efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Dear New York MoveOn member,

I'm a retired physician who believes that we need to save lives by passing Medicare for All—the only health care bill that will help all Americans achieve access to health care.

But until that day comes, we must defeat every attempt to make our health care worse—like the newest version of Trumpcare, the deadly Cassidy-Graham proposal in the Senate.

Because of massive grassroots pressure, Sen. McCain just announced that he is against the Cassidy-Graham proposal. But this bill is not dead yet—Republicans need only a few more votes to pass it.¹

We must take action NOW—the Senate is planning to vote on this proposal next week and the outcome is still uncertain. Click here to sign my petition.

If the Cassidy-Graham bill is passed, 2,212,000 people are estimated to lose insurance in New York alone—11.20% of the state's total estimated population.^2,3

We must defeat this bill so that the Affordable Care Act can remain in place to save lives until we, the people, convince our representatives to pass Medicare for All.
