Will you share why you support the Dream Act?

Reply to this message and share why you stand with Dreamers.

Dear MoveOn member,

Thank you for taking action to demand that Congress pass a clean Dream Act. Already more than 14,000 Dreamers have lost their legal protections since Trump canceled the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in September—with 122 more becoming vulnerable to deportation every day. Just last night, a federal judge in California affirmed that the DACA program should never have been terminated. But until Congress acts, Dreamers are still being left in limbo.1

It's critical that our senators understand that constituents from all walks of life are invested in this issue and want immediate action on the Dream Act. Part of that is making sure members of Congress hear WHY this issue is so important to so many of their constituents.

Will you reply to this email and share why you support the Dream Act?

When you reply, tell us about yourself: who you are, what you do, how long you've lived in your area, and why supporting Dreamers is so important to you. Maybe you have your own immigration story or your own connection to immigrants in your personal or professional life. These details help make your stories more compelling when we share them with members of Congress and over social media.

The movement for a clean Dream Act—led by courageous immigrant youth—continues to grow. Hundreds of thousands of MoveOn members like you have added their names to petitions, made phone calls to legislators, visited congressional offices, and rallied for the Dream Act.

We need to keep up the pressure: Congress needs to hear loud and clear why the Dream Act matters—and just how important this is to their constituents from all walks of life. Share your voice today, and we'll share your stories on Facebook, Twitter, and even back to legislators who need to hear your voice as we demonstrate all the reasons Americans want a Dream Act now.

Reply to this email to share why you care so deeply about the lives of Dreamers.

Thanks for all you do.
