Demand Sean Spicer resign or be fired immediately.
Dear MoveOn member,
On Passover no less, Sean Spicer just told a room full of reporters that Hitler "didn't even sink to using chemical weapons" when describing Bashar Assad's alleged use of chemical gas on Syrian citizens.1
His apparent ignorance and his on-the-record erasure of the horrors of the Holocaust and the Nazi extermination of millions of innocent people—many in chemical gas chambers—are disgusting.
Will you sign and share the petition demanding Sean Spicer's immediate resignation or removal as White House Press Secretary?
Bashar Assad's alleged actions are horrifying. But Spicer's statement—erasing Hitler's use of chemical gas to kill countless people—is wholly unacceptable. And it needs be the end of his tenure as White House Press Secretary.
He has lost every shred of credibility as a public spokesperson.
Since Trump's dangerous, hate-filled presidential campaign, white nationalist violence and aggression have surged across the country. If Spicer is allowed to remain as a spokesperson for the White House, he puts all of us in danger.
Thanks for all you do.
