If you have a pre-existing condition,* your health insurance costs could skyrocket under Trumpcare. Click to sign the petition to tell the Senate to stop Trumpcare.
Dear fellow MoveOn member,
House Republicans just forced through Trumpcare, and it could make me and millions of other Americans lose our health insurance.1
My cancer came out of nowhere for me. I'm 40 years old, and in good health (or so I thought). The last time I was in a hospital was when I broke my arm at 13. But a few months ago I had a nagging cough which had been diagnosed as pneumonia, and it continued long enough that I eventually went back to urgent care. This set off a chain of events and "fun" medical procedures that ended up with my being diagnosed with stage IV Hodgkin lymphoma. It sounds terrible—but it can be cured.
But I need access to health insurance to get better, and now they are threatening the Affordable Care Act, which is what will keep me alive and, hopefully, make me well soon.
Will you sign and share my petition to keep health care for millions of people like me with cancer or other pre-existing conditions and people who simply will not be able to afford Trumpcare? Click here to sign.
Cancer or any kind of devastating medical condition can happen to anybody at any time. We need to stand up and tell the Senate to stop Trumpcare.
Thanks!
