Share Jimmy Kimmel's powerful story?

The House could vote on health care in a matter of hours. We all need to sound the alarm.

Dear MoveOn member,

This is the zero hour on Trumpcare. Republicans have announced that they will vote on Thursday to take health care away from 24 million Americans and end protections for preexisting conditions, and they claim they have the votes to pass it.

Because of the way the Republicans are rushing this through, many Americans don't realize this vote could come so quickly, which is why we all have to sound the alarm. MoveOn members in key Republican districts have been on fire over the past week -- making tens of thousands of calls to their representative, holding rapid response rallies, and keeping the pressure on in other ways.

Here's something you can do to help too: You can watch and share a 1-minute video of late-night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, describing his newborn son's urgent heart surgery, which wouldn't be covered under Trumpcare. It's the kind of personal reflection that has already broken through the noise to get national attention, and the kind of story that can quickly explain the stakes of tomorrow's likely vote. Just click to watch and share it now.

We've beaten back Trumpcare before, but if we are going to stop it again, it's by making sure that Americans everywhere know what's at stake and letting Republicans everywhere know they will be held accountable if they take away our health care.

Can you watch and share Jimmy Kimmel's opening monologue on the importance of protecting our health care? And when you share it, add a personal message about why health care matters to you and make sure your friends and family know Republicans may vote on Trumpcare within hours.

Not on Facebook? Click here to watch the video on YouTube as well.

Together, we're doing much more than watching and sharing videos. In addition to the avalanche of calls and rallies, we're flying planes and running mobile billboards in key districts, promoting the message, "Don't take away our health care."

As we do all that, let's keep sharing the kind of personal stories that make this fight so important. Watch and share Kimmel's video now. And add your own message appealing to your friends and family to call on Republicans in Congress not to take health care away from 24 million Americans. Thanks for all you do.

P.S. You can you also call your own representative right now to tell them you want them to fight with all their might to keep Trump and Congress from taking away our health care. Call them at 1-844-432-0883!

Want to support our work? The MoveOn community will work every moment, day by day and year by year, to resist Trump's agenda, contain the damage, defeat hate with love, and begin the process of swinging the nation's pendulum back toward sanity, decency, and the kind of future that we must never give up on.
