TOMORROW: Rally outside of Trump International Hotel & Tower

Will you join us, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, Reverend Al Sharpton, Shailene Woodley, Rosie Perez, Alec Baldwin as we send a clear message of resistance on the evening before inauguration?

Dear fellow MoveOn member,

Donald Trump's agenda threatens many people across the country. His agenda threatens people in the immigrant community with mass deportation and threatens the lives of over 30 million people who have health insurance under Obamacare. And President-elect Trump threatens us all by denying climate change.

In order to protect people, the environment, our democracy, and our values, we are going to have to stand united. That's why we're going to rally in NYC outside of Trump International Hotel & Tower, right by his home, on the eve of his inauguration, to send him off to Washington with a powerful message that New York City will be a bastion of resistance against hateful policies and that we intend to move forward a positive agenda using the great powers possessed by our communities and cities.

Will you join NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, Reverend Al Sharpton, Shailene Woodley, Rosie Perez, Alec Baldwin, advocacy groups, and thousands of New Yorkers at the rally? Click here to RSVP.  (And note: if you agree to join this action, you agree to the terms found here.)

(Not on Facebook? You can still join us tomorrow, January 19, at 6:00 PM at 1 Central Park West, by the corner of West 59th Street and 8th Avenue.)

The family-friendly rally will mark the beginning of renewed efforts by New York City and other cities across our country to become havens for all people and to make real progress on important issues, such as climate change, criminal justice, immigrant rights, and pushing back on repeal of the Affordable Care Act. We will stand together for the rights of LGBTQ communities, who are threatened with rollbacks of their hard-fought rights, and stand with people facing discrimination because of their religion. Together we can create a place for a thriving middle class that includes good public education and a living standard of wages.

Bring your friends and family to make the rally huge and send a powerful message!

Join, invite friends, and share the Facebook event page.

With this dangerous incoming administration, we must make sure they know that we will fight on behalf of New Yorkers and people all across this country for as long as it takes to protect our democracy and advance the values we hold dear.

We'll see you tomorrow evening.

Thanks for all you do.

Mark Ruffalo and Michael Moore
