Outraged. That's just one word to describe how I feel about Brett Kavanaugh's lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court despite the courageous and inspiring protests that have riveted the nation for weeks. But here's another word: determined.
It will take time to digest this news and grieve this loss. And yet all of us, together, must act—and for those ready, we can take effective action right now.
There are only 30 days to the midterm elections. Republicans must pay for putting a liar on the Court, and stripping away their power by seizing their majority in Congress is the very best way to ensure they do.
