This evening at Hunter College on the Upper East Side, MoveOn's spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre will participate in an Intelligence Squared debate about the future of the Democratic Party.
Karine and former Bernie Sanders presidential campaign manager Jeff Weaver will argue in favor of the proposition that "progressive populism will save the Democratic Party." Arguing against the proposition will be Steve Rattner, best known for leading president Obama's auto bailout, and Jonathan Cowan of Third Way.
The debate is today, October 11 at 7 p.m.—and we'd love it if you could join us to cheer on Karine.
