Sign the petition: End Saudi aid (Jamal Khashoggi + Yemen)

The U.S. must end all military aid and arms sales to the Saudi regime.

Dear fellow MoveOn member,

Saudi Arabia has waged a yearslong war on Yemen and has most recently been implicated in the death of a Washington Post journalist. Yet the United States continues to support Saudi Arabia with military aid and millions of dollars in weapons sales.

Due to Saudi Arabia's role in the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and its ongoing attacks on Yemen, the U.S. must end all military aid and arms sales to the regime.

On October 2, Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post journalist and critic of the Saudi government, entered the regime's consulate in Turkey and was never seen again. Authorities in Istanbul say that Khashoggi was murdered by Saudi agents.1

The Saudi regime is brutal. It has most recently been accused by the U.N. of possible war crimes for Saudi-led attacks in Yemen, including bombings of hospitals and school buses.2

But despite these atrocities, the United States continues to support Saudi Arabia with huge amounts of military aid and sales of weaponry.3 America has blood on its hands, including that of U.S. resident Jamal Khashoggi. We must end our support of the Saudi regime now.

Thanks!
