RSVP now: Recovery Recess

RSVP for an event for Recovery Recess.

Dear MoveOn member,

Today is the first day of spring recess for Congress! President Biden is about to release his "Build Back Better" plan to fund infrastructure jobs that deliver climate solutions and economic justice. We need Biden and Congress to act decisively to deliver real recovery now!

That's why MoveOn members, and our partners, are hosting events all over the United States for the next two weeks, from March 29 to April 11, when members of Congress are at home.

Check out the events page to see what events are going on in your area. Be a part of history by lifting up the change we need to create to see a better future.

Right now, there are already over 100 events—online and in person—in communities all across the country.

And they look amazing. Take a look at just some of what's being planned. There will be THREE simultaneous "West Virginia Jammin' for Jobs" events across the state, and a virtual livestream connecting all three that you can watch remotely. MoveOn members in Missoula, Montana, are hosting an in-person event to demand that Congress Build Back BOLD. In Vermont, the Sierra Club is hosting a virtual town hall conversation with Rep. Peter Welch about the THRIVE agenda for jobs, climate action, and justice.

Please remember that we are in a pandemic and that your health—and that of those around you—is very important. If you are part of an at-risk group, please do not attend an in-person event—instead, you can find a list of virtual events to join by removing in person events from your search on the map! If you do attend, please wear a mask, bring plenty of hand sanitizer, and remain at least six feet away from others.

Thanks for all you do.
