The list of Trump's crimes is long, and there is finally a person with power who can hold him accountable.  

Sign: Tell Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate Trump and his cronies!

Attorney General Merrick Garland was recently confirmed by the U.S. Senate to lead the Department of Justice, and there is so much work to be done after Trump's attorney general, Bill Barr, abused his power to do Trump's bidding by acting as his personal lawyer and covering up Trump's many crimes. The GOP Treason Caucus refused to hold Trump accountable and helped him evade consequences, but we can finally do something about it: We can demand that the Department of Justice investigate Trump and his associates.

Over the past few years, Donald Trump, his aides, and associates have engaged in a flurry of unethical, unconstitutional, and often criminal activity, culminating with the seditious insurrection at the United States Capitol on January 6 led by white nationalists, incited and encouraged by Trump and his cronies in the GOP Treason Caucus. This is why we need Attorney General Merrick Garland to launch an investigation into any potential federal criminal or civil violations that may have been committed by Donald Trump, members of his administration, and his other associates.

Trump doesn't stop being a threat to our democracy just because he is no longer president. His blatantly racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, and anti-immigrant rhetoric will live on, fueling his base that is filled with white supremacists and fueling members of the GOP Treason Caucus that refused to hold him accountable for his attacks on our democracy. The damage has been done, and the consequences will be lasting. 

Former Attorney General Bill Barr used his role at the Department of Justice to act as Trump's personal lawyer, covering up his crimes. As Attorney General Merrick Garland works to restore the integrity of the Department of Justice and the rule of law to our nation, it is essential that the department thoroughly investigate these actions and hold those who have violated the nation's laws accountable.
