Republicans divide us (will you unite us?)

I'm asking you now to think about how much you care about this election

Dear Eddie,

The Republican game plan is now on full display: They want to divide and distract us through a toxic combination of fear and falsehoods. They're trying to stoke racial hatred to turn us against each other.

And what will Republicans do if they prevail? Mitch McConnell spelled it out: They're coming for our Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. And there's no doubt they'll put our health care back on the chopping block.

The stakes could not be higher. That's why I'm asking you now to think about how much you care about this election—and sign up to volunteer on Sunday in East Northport.

Click here now to sign up, and let's bring it on home.

Can't make that one? Here are some other times you can join MoveOn members to campaign:

Monday at 8:30 a.m.

Monday at 11:15 a.m.

Monday at 3:15 p.m.

Why do you think Trump, Fox News, and Republican candidates are talking nonstop about impoverished people 1,000 miles away, on foot, who are seeking asylum?

Why is he threatening to challenge the Constitution?

Why is the Trump administration aiming to erase the existence of transgender Americans?

The answer is simple: It's fearmongering.

MoveOn is organizing thousands of members to join door-knocking "Waves" to get the truth out. They're putting cut-through-the-noise ads on social media to reach exactly the people we most need to talk to.

MoveOn's tactics can change the conversation to the real stakes in this election. But only if MoveOn members in key states take action right now. That means you, Eddie.

Or click here to find out which of your friends live in key swing districts and text them to vote.

What unites us is still stronger than what divides us. We all need to put food on the table. We all want health care and dignity for our parents. We all want good schools for our kids.

The GOP thinks they can make us forget about what we all have in common. But I think they're underestimating you. I think they're underestimating our movement. Even in the face of fear, of falsehoods, and, now, of the threat of violence, I think we can come together and change the direction of this country.

I have faith in you.

Thanks for all you do.

–Senator Kamala Harris

P.S. Two weeks ago, on a visit to Wisconsin to lift up my friend Tammy Baldwin's campaign, I got to meet with MoveOn members in Madison and Milwaukee. Here's a photo! You're doing amazing work. Click here to ramp it up to the finish line!

Will you support MoveOn's efforts to win this election? Michael Moore says, "MoveOn is working around the clock to help organize and turn out volunteers to get out the vote in November. I know that MoveOn members like you are moving heaven and earth to win this election. We're the majority. But we need to rise up. That's the only way out of this mess." Will you stand with MoveOn?
