BREAKING: Big developments in the Keystone XL fight

BREAKING NEWS: Yesterday, the House approved a controversial bill to push the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline through Congress.
BREAKING NEWS: Yesterday, the House approved a controversial bill to push the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline through Congress.

President Obama has already said he'll veto this legislation, but he needs to reject the Keystone XL pipeline once and for all. It's imperative that we come together in calling on President Obama to stand strong against this dangerous pipeline, and our friends at 350.org are doing just that. Can you sign and share their petition right now?

Dear MoveOn member,

I'm Sara Shor of the organization 350.org, and I started a petition to President Barack Obama, which says:

The Keystone XL pipeline will contribute to climate change and fails the climate test. Don't wait to make your mark on history. Stop the pipeline now.

Now is the time for leadership. The Keystone XL pipeline clearly fails the president's climate test—and we now know that Big Oil doesn't have the support needed to approve the pipeline.

President Obama has the support he needs—from science and from the people—to reject the pipeline.

An 830,000-barrel-per-day pipeline of the world's dirtiest oil will obviously contribute to climate change.

Send a message to President Obama to stop Keystone XL now!

Click here to add your name to this petition, and then pass it along to your friends.

Thanks!

–Sara Shor
