North Dakota: Investigate the inhumane attack on Dakota Access Pipeline protesters

Over the weekend, private security guards hired by Dakota Access, LLC unleashed a wave of violence against members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, which has come together with other Native Americans from across the country to peacefully oppose a proposed pipeline that would run through four states, disturb native burial sites, and impact drinking water for thousands on the reservation and many more downstream.1

The excessive actions of these guards, and questions of whether they were even licensed for this type of work, warrant thorough and immediate investigation by the state agency that oversees private security firms.

Will you sign the petition to the North Dakota Private Investigation and Security Board and demand a full investigation of and stop to this violence?
