Dear MoveOn member,

I'm going to keep this quick and simple because, really, there's no reason to pontificate.

There's one more weekend before Election Day.

There are a few toss-up races that'll determine control of the Senate.

We have to make more than 2.5 million calls in the next 10 days to meet our get-out-the-vote goal and help win those races.

That means we need a lot of call parties next weekend—more than we've had this entire cycle so far. And I know we can do it, because year after year, I've watched MoveOn members do it before.

So, friend, I'm asking you as earnestly as I can: Will you sign up to host a get-out-the-vote call party next weekend?

Now, don't get me wrong—we planned for the majority of our calls to come in these last 10 days. But it's always hair-raising when you're coming down to the final push, the days we've been anticipating for months. There's a leap of faith. . . that MoveOn members will step up as they have in past elections.

When we asked members to host movie watch parties for America Has a Koch Problem earlier this year, 739 events were held. 739!

If we took this one weekend, buckled down as a community, and had more than 700 call parties to get out the vote, we'd blow through our goal for the final push.

I think we can do this. I know we can. And I hope you'll be able to help.
